About Me
Photography has always been a passion of mine, but now
as a mother of two, I have truly begun to understand that
childhood moments are precious and fleeting. A newborn
baby in a matter of weeks outgrows their wrinkled pink
skin and has become, although still small, a baby instead
of a newborn. Before you know it, teeth start coming in and
their toothless grin is forever gone. I feel so strongly that it
is so important to capture and appreciate these times at
every stage. I strive in my work not to take the perfect
picture but instead to take the pictures of the children, just
like they are. I love to capture the curiosity in their eyes ,
their feet and hands as they play, and the expressions that
they make as they discover the world around them. My
photographs are not posed or taken in a studio, they are
designed to capture the child in an environment that allows
them to show their innocence, curiosity and joy as they
play, laugh and love.
